"Mali" garnet is a mixture of grossular and andradite garnets. Green colored pure andradite is better known as demantoid. Andradite has the highest refractive index and dispersion (fire) of any garnet. Due to the high andradite content, Mali garnets are some of the brightest, most sparkly varieties out there! This little yellow beauty is cut in a classic pear shape, and would be ideal for a pendant or other jewelry application where a "drop" style is needed. Sale Pending.
